August sucks. It's a turning point in my self-diagnosed seasonal depression/bipolar disorder. I stop almost every year and have a moment of, "The summer is on it's way out... here comes the cold crap." Granted I know there's still a ton of sunlight left, but this time of year tends to blur by in an instant of self-anawareness for me. Mindless days over run any drive I may have had to better myself. I can say I'm creating a self-fulfilling prophecy, but I've actually attempted to stop and make better use of my time. It just never ends in something fulfilling. Again... I blame seasonal angst. It causes me to be over dramatic and impossible to please. So, in short I just need to get over myself, make something fun and be happy with it. Or maybe I should start harnessing my bad moods in a creative manner and learn to be content with my depressing creations for what they are and leave them at that. Inspiration is inspiration no?
